Happy Moonday, Dreamers ☽
This weekend I was in the luteal phase of my cycle which for me means lots of extra emotional + physical support. Despite my big plans to work on my course all weekend, when I woke up saturday morning I immediately knew my body had something different in mind. I cleared my schedule and checked-in with myself to see what I needed to feel supported.
The journaling prompts I used to check-in and have a nourishing weekend of self-care are:
️ What do I need to take care of myself?
️ What emotions are surfacing? How can I allow them to move through me?
️ How can I best communicate my needs right now?
Thankfully, the days of fighting my body’s natural rhythm are behind me. I know this is part of the ebbs and flows of life, so instead of trying to push past it (as I did for many years with zero success), I now lean into it. I accept I need to slow down, won’t be as productive, and definitely won’t get every single thing on my list done and that is OK. Just like everything else in life, this too shall pass.
