Introduction to the Akashic Records

Earth Tu Face has quickly become one of my favorite skincare lines and it is not even a question that I will be re-ordering everything I used as well as exploring more of the line. In this journey to a more natural beauty routine, I have realized that it is not just about the actual products I am using but the story behind them. It creates a very special connection and sacred ritual in my routine as well as positive energy in the way I am using my dollar. Through my research and experience with Earth Tu Face, I have become a huge fan of herbalists Sarah Buscho and Marina Storm, the creators of the brand. Nothing makes me happier than to be able to support a company who is creating skincare with the motto, “you should never put on your skin what you wouldn’t put in your mouth.” Their products are 100% plant-based and made with food grade ingredients. Each chosen to both heal your body and the planet. The plant extracts are hand picked by herbalists and all ingredients are organic and wildcrafted. Free of any added water, synthetics, fragrance, toxins and all of the things we should be avoiding, using each product is like having a spa day in the comfort of your home. Earth Tu Face is grown from the ground up, perfectly utilizing the healing power of plants.

The Toning Mist with Rose + Aloe is a summer dream and I have been spritzing myself with it non-stop to cool down post workout, wake-up for morning meditation and relax after a sweaty subway ride home. It is hand-made with rose, rose geranium, lavender, aloe and healthy botanicals. The rose geranium helps to increase collagen and balance the skin while the lavender is anti-inflammatory and heals tissue. I love keeping this in my purse to soothe my skin and give it some love throughout the day.

I have been using the Dead Sea Salt Scrub in the shower, (momentarily stepping away from the water) 1-2 times a week for an all over deep exfoliation with my loofah glove. I use a decent amount (in small handfuls) and after a month I am due for another one. It left me feeling silky smooth and is the perfect addition post-dry brushing.

It is truly a three for one deal, exfoliating, detoxifying and hydrating the body. The sea salt stimulates the lymphatic system and the organic safflower and jojoba oils absorb into the skin nourishing my body from head to toe. Not to mention it smells amazing. The bergamot, lemon and basil lift up my mood + help me to start the day energized. My morning routine as of late has been a heart-pumping workout followed by a good dry brush, salt scrub and post-shower moisturizing allowing me to start the day feeling like I just left the spa.

As for moisturizing, I quickly went through the Jasmine Blossom Lotion (I loved it so much I used the entire bottle in two weeks). Using it after every shower daily, I adore the sweet and fresh scent it gave me. It is the aroma of real jasmine blossoms handled with care and love. It is a rare and precious oil making this lotion even more decadent. Mixed with pure Australian sandalwood, aloe leaf juice, organic olive oil and vitamin e my skin felt protected and smelling like a blossoming flower.

The Anti-Aging Sea Buckthorn + Geranium Serum has been my nightly routine mixed with Sun Potion Shea Butter for a skin-nourishing night of sleep. It is an intensive repair serum and I love to let it get to work while I am in dreamland. The rose geranium improves elasticity, sea buckthorn promotes cell regeneration and chamomile repairs and softens tissues. It is highly concentrated, organic and the perfect solution to natural anti-aging products. I woke up hydrated and smooth and a little goes a very long way.

Anti-Aging Sea Buckthorn + Geranium Serum: $56

I can’t wait to explore more of this beautiful line. Up next I am planning on trying the skin stick, face wash and coconut body butter. Have you ever tried Earth Tu Face? Let me know in the comments!
